Welcome to the website of the Armenian Education Center. We are a grassroots organization founded by people who are opposed to all human rights violations. Since the end of the 19th century, genocide has claimed the lives of countless innocent people.

The Education Center is committed to make known the circumstances and reasons for the deliberate extermination of a people. Our focus is on one of the earliest events which horrified the civilized nations of the world, The Armenian Genocide of 1915; it is often referred to as “the Forgotten Genocide”.

The Members section of the website introduces the members of the
Education Center who are presently serving by freely giving their time and support.

The section on Teaching Resources provides two lesson plans along with
support material, maps, historical background, vocabulary definitions,
as well as an updated bibliography, and web sites.
